This is a replica of an African Battle Shield. It is based off the Zulu Shield with the exception of the fur on the shield. Traditional Zulu shields use only cow hide but I used a giraffe print fur. It stand just over 3 ft from the Mgobo or center pole, which is wrapped with feathers. The Shield is made of wood and is 2ft tall and 12.5 in wide.
