Debra Hammond Elder Lady Doll in Black Dress Artisan Dollhouse Miniature

Lovely, expressive, detailed artisan-made doll, by Debra Hammond, with blue eyes & blond hair swept up into a pretty braid-wrapped bun. Her entire face is framed in tiny ringlets. Her face has been crafted to indicate that she has a few years on her, which is rare for Hammond's dolls. This makes her extra special!

This doll is dressed in a really lovely late 1800s - early 1900s black dress. Her skirt is black silk, with dark blue stripes subtly bordering vertical black lace stripes. She wears a black silk bolero style jacket with full sleeves. Under the jacket she has nude-color lace trimmed with two tiny "pearl" buttons. She comes with a black straw hat, decorated with an.

She has a white petticoat and white pantaloons, both trimmed with white lace. She has a pleased, charming expression. Her black high boots are painted on.

Her head, neck, and upper bust are solid porcelain (so her head is stationary). Forearms & hands, and lower legs & feet are porcelain. Her upper arms, upper legs, and waist are cloth-covered wire. As a result, she can sit or stand (she comes with a doll stand). Can pose her arms and legs or bend her slightly at the waist.

The ability to move the arms, combined with their subtle facial features and delicate hands, make these Hammond dolls not only very expressive, but also lively & active occupants for your dollhouse. The doll's height includes her bun, but her height to the top of her head is proportionate for a tall woman. Debra Hammond's dolls are beautifully made and very collectible. 6¼" H x 3¼" W.
