Lovely, expressive, detailed artisan-made doll, by Debra Hammond, with blue eyes & dark blond hair pulled up into a bun with little curling tendrils around her face. This doll is costumed as a maid or governess from the mid-1800s through early 1900s. She wears a black uniform dress, trimmed with white cuffs and a white lace collar with a tiny pearl at the center. She wears a white cotton bib apron with a little lace trim.

She wears a white petticoat and white pantalettes. She has a kind and pleasant expression. Her black shoes are painted on. Her arms & legs & waist are wired; as a result, the doll can sit or stand (she comes with a doll stand). You can pose her arms and legs or bend her slightly at the waist.

The ability to move the arms, combined with their subtle facial features and delicate hands, make these Hammond dolls not only very expressive, but also lively & active occupants for your dollhouse. The doll's height includes her bun, but her height to the top of her head is proportionate for a tall woman.

Debra Hammond's dolls are beautifully made and very collectible. Is a 1:12 (1 inch) scale miniature, unless otherwise stated in description.
