Hand Carved Black Jet Five Raven Fetish Statement Necklace Matt Mitchell. Hand carved five black raven fetish necklace handmade in traditional Southwest style by native New Mexican artist Matt Mitchell, who is also a master falconer. Matt is non-Native American, but his carving work is some of the best around.

The center raven fetish opens its wing. All fetishes are beautifully hand carved from black jet with turquoise color inlay eyes. Jet is a gemstone, and is a product of high-pressure decomposition of wood from millions of years ago.

Nice feather details on the wings. The strand is hand strung black heishi, accented with several turquoise heishi. Unique necklace and a great gift for bird lovers!

Center raven measures 2" by 2" approximately. The other raven measures about 2" by 1/2". Total length is about 25.
